Former Congresswoman Liz Cheney and Vice President Kamala Harris made a joint appearance in three battleground states to appeal to moderate Republicans who may have concerns about voting for Donald Trump but are hesitant to voice them publicly.

Cheney and Harris visited key counties such as Chester County in Pennsylvania, Oakland County in Michigan, and Waukesha County in Wisconsin, all of which were won by former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley.

During a townhall event in Michigan, Cheney emphasized the upcoming election as a pivotal choice between right and wrong, urging Republicans to vote their conscience without fear of repercussions.

Cheney, who faced backlash for her involvement in investigating Trump's role in the January 6 events, expressed confidence that many moderate Republicans would support Harris, even if silently.

The collaboration between Cheney, a former GOP member, and Harris, a Democrat, highlights the rare bipartisan effort to sway voters ahead of the election.
